Hello,
I love your patterns! They are just the style my family and friends enjoy. I can't wait to see what you come up with for men's socks as I am a male. I am writing you to see if you would be interested in using some of our yarn in the future? My family is venturing into the fiber business and will be mainly producing alpaca yarn using animals we are caring for. Our name so far is going to be Mitchell Meadows and we are in western New York. Other fiber may be purchased and processed. To get started I have ordered equipment and about 50 lbs. of raw suri alpaca fiber. So in a few weeks we should have something put together. I don't know if you have ever used suri, but it is quite nice for drapery type stuff. We have not thought about dying much, but will hopefully have some white and light fawn fiber that will be nice fore dying. Eventually I will get some dying going, but one step at a time. We are going for as natural of a product as possible and we will be processing all raw fiber in house so we will know any and all chemicals used. When we have some yarn made up I would be honored if you would like to give some a try and give us some feedback on the quality and anything you would like different. Let me know if you are interested. Also what weight yarn you would like to work with and color preference.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Dana Mitchell

Hi Corrina,

I found your website via Classic Elite Yarns Newsletter. I was intrigued when you spoke of knitting in Florida. I am a transplant from Ohio (where there is plenty of wool and many LYS). Intrigued enough to go to your website and find that we are in the same Florida city of Jacksonville. I have not met many knitters here, but have visited two LYS: Knitwitz and A Stitch in Time (I think that is the name-on University). Any other LYS close-by that you visit?

I enjoyed your vacation blogging. How old are your sons? I have three sons (all adults, and all, fortunately, live in cold areas like OH and NYC, so I can send hats, sweaters, gloves, afghans,scarves,etc...) Your patterns are very interesting and I love your dyed yarns. I feel like you are the "Earth Mother" I was when I had small children and more time at home.

I work as an ER doctor at St. Vincent Hospital in Riverside. There is frequently downtime at night, therefore, time to pickup the needles and complete a few rows. Everyone always wants to know what I am "crocheting".

Like I said, I love your dyed yarns. I hope to order form you in the near future. I will also look at you ravelry site.
